Types of Immigration Evaluations
Immigration Evaluations may be used in several types of immigration matters. your immigration attorney should determine which form of relied applies to your case and what information the evaluation should address.
Extreme Hardship Waivers
An extreme hardship evaluation examines the emotional, physical, medical, relational and practical efforts that separation or relocation could have on a qualifying family member.
The purpose of this evaluation is to clincially document the persons current functioning and the anticipated psychologicalconsequences of separation, relocation or both.
VAWA Evaluations
Violence Against Women Act evaluations may support individuals who have expereinced battery, coervice control, extreme cruelty, or other forms of abuse by a qualifying spouse, parent, or adult child.
Despite its name, VAWA protections may apply to people of any gender.
U Visa Evaluations
U Visa evaluations may be appropriate for individuals who have expereinced certain qualifying crimes and suffered significant physical or psychological effects.
This evaluation does not determine whether a crime legally qualifies for a U Visa. That determination must be made by the client's immigration attorney and the approporaite legal authorities.
T Visa Evaluations
T Visa evaluations may support individuals who report expereincing human trafficking, labor exploitation, sexual exploitation, coercion, or related trauma.
These evaluations are completed with particulat attention to trauma, safety, cultural considerations, and the potential effects of recounting distressing expereinces.
Asylum Evaluations
An asylum evaluation may document the psychological effects of persecution, violence, threats, discrimination, detention, torture, political conflict, or other traumatic expereinces.
The evaluator does not decide whether an individual legally qualifies for asylum. The evaluators role is to provide an independent clincial opinion concerning mental health and psychological functioning.
Cancellation of Removal and Other Immigration Matters
Evaluations may also be appropriate in cancellation of removal cases and other immigration matters in which psychological functioning, family hardship, trauma, or mental-health conditions are relevant.
Before scheduling, Sprrow Integrative Theraypy may request information from the referring attroney to confirm the purpose and scope of the evaluation.
Fees and Payment Options
Standard Evaluations: $900
The standard fee includes clincial interview, review of relevant records, appriproiate screening measures, preparation of the written reports, and resonably consultation with the referring attorney.
Payment plans are availablae. The full report will be released after the agreed-upon balance has been paid unless another arrangement has been made in writing.
Expedited Evaluations
Expedited scheduling and report preparation may be available when deadlines permit.
Expedited servies require an additional fee based on:

How quickly the appointment is needed.

The requested report deadline.

The complexity of the case.

The number of people being evaluated

The amount of documentation requiring review.
Expedited service much be approved before scheduling and cannot be guaranteed until the evaluator has reviewed the requested timeline.
Additional Services
Additional fees may apply for:

Evaluation of more than one person.

Extensive record review. Sbstantial report revisions requested because new information was provided after completion.

Interpreter services.

Attorney converences beyond he included consultation.

Affidavits, supplemental letters, addendum reports.

Dispositionsm hearings, or expert testimony.

Travel or in-person services, when available.
Any additional fee will be discussed before the service is completed.
Immigration evaluations are forensic or legal-support services and are generally not billed to health insurance.
